Poll question for Nov. 23November 22, 2010 6:42 pm
Well, this is it folks, final question of the season. Thanks to everybody who took the time to participate. Despite one of the most enthralling title battles in its history, NASCAR is considering making changes to the Chase. Should officials leave it alone, make minor tweaks or would you prefer an upheaval? Category: Auto Racing Poll question for Nov. 16November 15, 2010 9:11 pm
We'll probably have one last Poll Position question next week, here's what's on tap for this week ... Will Jimmie Johnson win a fifth consecutive title or does Denny Hamlin or Kevin Harvick unseat the four-time defending champ? Could a new champion help revive fan interest in the sport? Jimmie Johnson's No. 48 team swapped pit crews with Jeff Gordon's No. 24 team mid-race at Texas and will remain swapped for the final two races. A smart move or sign of desperation for the four-time defending champions? Category: Auto Racing Tags: Poll question for Nov. 9

It took several minutes after Sunday's race at Talladega ended before NASCAR was able to announce a winner. Is there a better way for NASCAR to score the field if a caution comes out during the final lap? Here are the options as I see them (though if you have other, by all means share them) -- The system is fine as is. NASCAR should continue lock the field at the time the caution was initiated. -- Go back to their positions as they crossed the line while taking the white flag -- Let them race back to the checkered flag -- Go to extra laps, no races should ever end under caution Category: Auto Racing Tags: Poll question for Nov. 2

Kurt Busch vs. Jeff Gordon: Did Busch overreact to a minor bump or was his payback of Gordon justified? Are drivers getting carried away with "have at it boys"? REMINDER: I will choose what I believe to be the best response of those submitted to use on the feature. If you wish for your response to be used a possible candidate, it will need to be posted no later than 4 p.m. ET Tuesday. Category: Auto Racing |
